I am considering letting go of one of my friends. I am in my late twenties, she is in her early twenties. For a while, she just has not been there for me and she says she'll do something, but doesnt. So, I guess I need a way to let her know that I can no longer have her in my life right now. She is still immature, and we just are not on the same level anymore. Help me please!!

Jecht, let's learn proper grammar before we talk about someones maturity level. The fact is she still calls me when SHE needs something, and I am there, but she does not return the favor.

Breaking up with a friend is hard to do, but inevitable at some point in everyone's life~ I am sorry to hear your friend doesn't seem to hold the friendship in much value. The key is to keep opinions to yourself and not point out character flaws so as not to belittle her. This will only cause anger and a heated argument! You can simply say that you two do not seem to be going in the same direction, clicking, share different interests, and there isn't a lot of common ground. It's fact of life that friends to grow apart based on changes in their lives/lifestyles. Be considerate and remember why you became friends in the first place. When you spend time and effort trying to work on a friendship that isn't as valuable to both parties, it takes away from growing & developing one's that are.

Good luck!

You stop calling her. You are unavailable when she needs you. You don't make plans, but are still polite and cordial. Eventually, you will be replaced. If you are just upset with her and don't really want to cut her out - then you need to talk to her. But if you are just trying to hold on because you have been friends so long - just let go.

maybe shes already trying to tell you that she don't want you around no more. if your saying that she hasn't been around lately and she didn't do things that she promises you she will do.

have you tried to ask her if there is anything wrong as she hasn't been doing things she promised. if not then you not mature in my book. to toss a friend when she didn't preform the way you want her to.

again have you just asked her why before jumping to conclusions? a mature person wouldn't jump to conclusions. but ask the person if there is something wrong first.

Love hate to tell you but grammar has nothing to do with maturity. maybe if you looked up the definition of maturity. then you might learn what it really means. Then you can become more mature. LATER LOVE

try this www.google.com then type in maturity. it will give you the definition.

want don't you try giving her another chance before you tell her you don't want to be friends anymore, i heard a saying and it goes " you don't know what you have till its gone" which means that if you let go of her then your going to realize that she was a really good friend and well if she is in her early 20's then she might be out parting with friends. just give her another Chance.

but if you really don't want to be her friend then invite her out to lunch. well talking tell her you have something you want to tell her. when you have her attention tell her " (name) i don't want to hurt you but i don't think we should be friends any more I'm soooo sorry but u had to"

if you don't want her in your life anymore and aren't going to be around her then just simply walk up to her face and say, "F*ck off!!! I don't want to be freinds with you anymore."
