There are a great many people I know here, but mostly because I made friends with them through this medium. But there are a couple of people here because I interested them in the site, and I have no doubt that if I could see behind the nickname and avatar, I would recognize at least a couple more. People who like this sort of thing, who are "factaholics," as I call myself, tend to gather round wherever they are. I have no doubt I have schmoozed with some of the current Yamsters back in my college days or since.
Maybe we should have a "yoo hoo, is that you?" category, where people you think might be someone you know could find each other. Problem is, most of us do not want to reveal our true identities to the entire world. I have my Q&A here linked to my 360 page, which is open to the public, so I don't mind. But if I was young and pretty, I'd be worried.

Yes....because everyone has little code names, who knows who you could be talking to. I'm always surprised when someone asks a "where you from" question and several people are from the same place as I!

Yes I have, but they wouldn't know it was me and I wouldn't know it was them, so... for all I know I could be talking to people in my life all the time and we would never find out.

no because every one I talk to doesn't even know what it is no matter how much I try to explain it to them I guess they have to find and try out the site for them selfs
