I have a friend I met online a couple of years ago and we've been corresponding ever since. Lately we've been talking a lot more and sending stuff to each other through the mail. I even sent her a fairly large Christmas present awhile back. Anyway, I went away for the holidays and forgot my phone. When I got back, I noticed she had called a couple of times and sent me some text messages. I tried to call her but got no answer so I left her voice and text messages letting her know I forgot my phone while away. I went to her Myspace page and also left her a message there, but I have yet to recieve a response. So here's the thing: she's been on Myspace since I've left those messages and she's not replying to them. The only thing I can think of that might have upset her is that I mentioned I'd been sending her a lot of things lately and for some people that could be seen as strange. I told her I just had a big heart and I wasn't a wierdo, basically. Do you think she's mad at me?

BTW - She doesn't have a boyfriend. I just don't know if I should go ahead and apologize or just let it be. I hate to think she's mad at me, but I don't want to make the situation worse. Currently, I'm going to give her time to cool down and just wait for her to respond. Does this seem like the correct course of action? Ladies - do you see apologizes from guys as sweet or emasculating?

Yes, it sounds like she is a little upset. If the text messages or voice mail did not display that, then she's mad that you did not respond to her for those days, and probably doesnt believe your excuse. Just give her a couple of days to think about it. If she calls you back, then great, if not, then she didnt really have your back in the first place.

She probably is mad at you. Like all girls get mad when someone isnt paying attention to them. If you guys were like going out, like online, you should tell her you love her or something. But she also might be freaked out, since she most likely has never met you in person. Sorry :)

.Send the message again. Wait a few days and if she says nothing, ask her if she got the email and what her answer is. Look at the pupils of her eyes. The pupil may dilate if she sees you as someone of interest or if there is an attraction. Then...you will know,
