in the pokemon sapphire game, i found three buried items using the itemfinder. one of these buried items belongs to guy in a cave, he asked for help in looking for his glasses. i tried using a pokemon who knows "dig" but i still cant get the item.

just face the area and press A. Talk to him again and he'll say you can keep the glasses.

i have pokemon emareald i found the same thing when you find them talk to him then he says those glasses are black glasses and then he go's and all no reward no nothing so

You face the item, not stand on it, face it, and press "A". I have the same game, and i have ruby.
Which guy lost his glasses? please add details pleasse, i wanna know so i can do that.
