Personally, I know 31 people who have had it done...(all in a 9 or 10 year period)
The majority have had 1 surgery...(with great results)
Of the people I know...
One guy had 'regression' and had to have 3 surgeries over a 5 year time frame.
One other guy has one perfect vision eye and the other eye regressed, he doesn't think it's bad enough to go through it again.

If you are going to have it done just go to the most experienced, reputable eye specialist you can go to... no matter the cost because it is worth every penny.

Good luck!

For myself and the dozens of people I know it takes between 12-24 hours after the surgery to get to 20/20. I've heard of 2nd surgeries being neccessary, but I think that the risks are only around 1%.
