my friend is having a girl next month and she has decided to name her elizabeth .. she was wanting an uncommon nickname so I thought Libby would be too cute .. what do you think?

Libby is really cute, you don't hear that nickname too often. I just met one over Christmas actually, a girl I went to school with has a niece with that name.
The common nicknames for Elizabeth are usually Liz, Beth, or Libby. Maybe even Liza (like Liza Minelli?) But I like Libby the best.

Libby is a very cute nickname for Elizabeth. The only nickname I dont like from Elizabeth is Lizzie. Libby is the best I think.

I have a friend named Libby and that's cute. There's also Lizzy, and Liz. My one friend hated Elizabeth so she went by Eliza her whole life!! Other ones are Ellie, Elly or Elle. Beth, or Betty. Tell her congrats Elizabeth is very cute!!!

beth, bethy, eliza, lizzie, liz, and betty are all nicknames for elizabeth. I like libby the best though.
