Well if you are talking about why you get nails in your tires? Then thats an easy question you are pulling to the side of the road that has alot of sand and junk on the side or you are hugging the right or left side of the road when you drive. I know this because my bestfriend has been doing this for years and her biggest problem is she always needs new tires due to the fact she always has nails in them! just be more cautious around curbs and parking lots. don't pull too close to the curb but make sure you are close enough so you won't get a ticket.

The most common offendar are all the old junky pickup trucks on the road used for handyman and construction work.
They throw their crap in the back of the truck old boards with nails still in them new nails laying in tooolbox or just thrown in the bed of the truck and they bounce out the first bump they hit.
If the nails in a board often other cars will run over it until the board breaks up and the nail is then free until it ends up in a tire.

Tires run over them and get a nail in them.
Nails can be dropped from construction debris or washed into the road by running water/rain......or people may have nails in their tires from parking lots or on their own property if near sites where there is a building project.....a tire can have a nail in it from anywhere and when the pressure on the tire is right from moving the car, speed of tire, weight on wheel causing it to go flat or blow! I had a street sweeper go by my car and toss a nail into the side wall as I sat at a red light...my tire went down immediately and the town paid for my new tire......many causes!!!!!

What???? Nails could be anywheres.... it not like there is a law stating nails can only be in a certain place and a certain time of year. You can run one over anywheres...... I did, so I took the tire off and plugged it. Fixed.

Nails and screws can fall everywhere, especially when people aren't creful with what happens to them. They can easily get scattered of fal from a pile of debris. Then when you drive over them leverage forces into your tire. Annoying isn't it?

Indeed you did ask that question, and this comment should have been added to your original question rather than spending another 5 points points to say something that no one who hasn't seen your first question will understand. I'd suggest you delete this question, getting back your 5 points, and add it as a comment on your original question.

I dunno about doing DIY in the middle of the road that would be like playing chicken, whoever would do this is silly, sometimes people do it so that they can punch holes in Tyre's, which is sad. But who knows why they're always in the middle of the road???
