I have found a lump inside my vagina which seems quite large and as i am 8 weeks pregnant its very worrying, i am going to visit the hospital later on this evening, as my doctors are not able to see me for a few weeks!! and i am having stomach ache's and strange feelings when I touch the lump, I have a feeling it has grown in the last 6 weeks since becoming pregnant.

Have any other women had this?

Does any one know what type of tests the hospital will do? ie ultra sound scan?

Thank you very much

You will have an internal examination!! This sounds kinda normal, but depends on the size of the lump, you may have an infection!!!

this could just be a varicose vein. They will probably just have a look to see what it is. If you have a scan that is usually just over the tummy area although they can insert a tiny probe to do an internal scan. None of these procedures are painful in any way.

This will just be ur cervix which will be long at hard, as the pregnacy progresses it will shorten and soften in prep for baby coming, speak to you doctor at your next visit. good luck and CONGRATS XXXX

if it is at the top of your vagina it is probably your cervix and is nothing to worry about
