i cooked the traditional southern New Years meal for good luck,,,,, cornbread, blackeyed peas, ham,,,,,, also had my daughters friends one year old baby over for the whole afternoon and evening,,,,,,, so had family, some friends, and the baby over for dinner,,,,,,, oh and the dog lol , all in all, it was a great, pleasant day,,,, with lots of laughs and sharing good times, sure hope the rest of the year goes as well,,,,

Woke up at 11 am, went to eat Sushi with my g/f, her sister and a friend. Came home and took a 2 hour nap. Cleaned our condo from the party the night before (dishes, garbage, vacuuming, etc.) Moved some furniture. Then watched 'The Shawshank Redemption' while we ate hot-pot for dinner.
Briefly cleaned up and went to bed.

Spring cleaning!! how's that? New Year's day always make me feel depressed as a whole long new year has just started and there's going to be many things to be done. So, first thing first, I do Spring Cleaning. Cleaning out all the 'old & unused' stuff so that I can bring in the new and beautiful stuff to fit into the new year of hope and joy! Hope your New Year's going to be GREAT!

had a party with about 12 kids ages 3-13
we played uno, scrabble, and made some crafts
we all had a very nice time...My husband went to the bar lol

Had a semi-quiet but nice time with family and friends and watch fireworks. Oh, almost forgot, excellent food dude!!!
