I need no link to answer your question. The system of Government in these countries does vary considerably. A is true in some respects, but no one votes for the Prime Minister. If he is the head of his party and his party wins a majority in an election, then he becomes Prime Minister. B is not true in the U.S. but is true in Britain as in Canada. C is true in Britain but not entirely in the U.S. A proposed member of a cabinet is picked by the President and then must go through a process of approval by the Congress before he can become a member. This process often leads to the decline of that person for the position. D is true in Britain and not the U.S.in a manner of speaking. If the Prime Minister and his party do not hold the majority of seats in Parliament and a bill he has proposed is defeated by more votes in the negative than positive, then the entire government must resign and a general election is called.
