New Year and same old questions.
It all depends on how you define "love" and "in love".

People every day for "in love" with people they DON'T know. They fall "in love" with a fantasy of how perfect this person MIGHT be. They fall "in love" with the dream of a perfect life with this new person. However, "in love" and "love" are NOT the same thing. When you "love" someone you accept them for who they are and not what you think they are. "Love" taking all of person and not just the good. Being "in love" with two people is having a choice between two DREAM worlds, NOT two people. The real test is when your eyes open up and you stop being "in love" and start loving.

So what is more important to you? Being "in love" or "loving"

Yes. Being in love with two people at the same time is not a new concept. This kind of love is called Polyamory. If all of the partners involved agree to the arrangement, it is perfectly fine and acceptable and not cheating.

Yes, it's very possible and also heart wrenching, as sooner or later you'll have to make a decision or worse, lose them both. As humans, we have many needs and many facets to our personality, and one person is fulfilling some while the other can attract us by touching us in a different way. One person can seldom meet all our needs, and it's selfish to think we'll find someone who can/will. Therefore, you love two people because they appeal to you on different levels and I'm sure you didn't seek to be in this situation, but rather kind of fell into it. It's a terrible place to be in and I wish you luck. In the future, try to avoid getting yourself into the same situation.

No, How can you love two people? I guess you could in different ways ,But true love is only for the right person, the person that will always be there for you through, your ups and downs, one that will always be by your side, through thick and thin,no matter what.

No. Not romantic love, anyways. If you truly loved someone - unconditionally and with all of your heart and soul - you would never do anything that could possibly hurt them. Loving someone else would obviously be hurtful to them. There are different kinds of love - like what you feel for family, or friends you've known forever. You could love many at the same time, differently - not romantically.

i think we can say we are in love two people but we cannot love them both in the same intensity and passion. if we listen carefully to our heart, we will realize that there is just one who deserves our love and commitment and that person is the one we should be with. we can love as many people as we want to but we have to commit ourselves to just one.

Short answer is YES!

Been there, done that! Most of the time, you end up loving one more than the other, but they both end up having a special place in your heart.

Yes. I never used to think so until it happened to me. I love my boyfriend very much but he has upset me so much over the years and I made friends with another guy whom has always been there for me. I fell for him big time but could not leave my boyfriend either, I tried. Currently still in limbo not knowing what to do , its not pleasant.
