Love is a profound feeling of tender affection for or intense attraction to another. People in love are often considered to have "good" interpersonal chemistry. Love is described as a deep, ineffable feeling shared in passionate or intimate interpersonal relationships. In different contexts, however, the word love has a variety of related but distinct meanings: in addition to romantic love, which is characterized by a mix of emotional and sexual desire, other forms include platonic love, religious love, familial love, and the more casual application of the term to anyone or anything that one considers strongly pleasurable, enjoyable, or desirable, including activities and foods. This diverse range of meanings in a single word is commonly contrasted with the plurality of Greek words for Love, reflecting the word's versatility and complexity.-

It's strongest force in the universe, yet it's invisible. You can't see love but you can see the effects of love. It can drive men and women to do what seemingly is impossible. Love can cause the greatest of happiness or greatest of misery. People have killed over love. People have gone to the ends of the earth for love. Love cannot be halted by time or distance. Love never divides, but it multiplies. Love is the most powerful gift known to man and it resides in his heart.

To me love is a feeling you feel down deep in your soul, in your core of all cores. Love is something that you can give away, or hold close. Love can be like a drug that makes you high, or it can bring you bitter sweet sorrow, when you lose it. Love is what I hope to bask in after this life with all of the people I have loved. It can build up the weakest soul, and change peoples hearts from sad to happy. Love is many things, but I think it is the one thing we should feel the luckiest to have on this earth.

There are 5 major types of love. They are as follow...Romantic, Family,Commonality, Friend and Spiritual.

Romantic is based on appearances more over than character.

Family is based on genetics than appearance and character. This is solely true on the case of sibblings. But cahnging from romantic to family is basied on charater and genetics.

Commonality is based solely on the same race and/or humanity. Like the love of one who was hurt in war but is not in anyway romantically, friendly or family related to ones self.

Friendly is based on character not so much on appearance. You have no romantic feelings because of this result. Although that can easily change. If you Now fully recognize their appearance.

Spiritual is based on faith. It provides you with confidence in ones self and direction. Because there is no appearance, genetic or character to relay this emotion.

Knowing ones base point Is the key to understanding love. We can confuse what we want with what we see. Or visa verse. If things change then let them change. But know where that the change was based.

Love is and always will be......

Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification

I don't think one can put into words what love is truly about. We all experience love in different ways, on different levels with different people. Love has no value, no boundaries and certainly no limitations. Its something that has to do with that special place inside of us that just feels and knows there is no other word to describe it other than love.

It is giving of one's self. Sharing a bit of your bounty with someone who has less and who may not be in a good situation to help him/herself. Giving love to complete strangers is - for some - a little more difficult than loving someone who loves them back, like a spouse, child, etc.

Love is wanting your children to be better off than you are, and I don't mean strictly financially, but in terms of finding joy in life and reaching whatever dreams they may have.
