He's really distracting. He keeps talking (with a loud voice) in class and i just can't listen to what the teacher is saying. He completely learns by himself but its not that easy for me and all my grades have dropped. I've tried sitting elsewhere but he calls me with a smiley face and then i go and sit there. Is there any way i can listen in class without hurting his feelings?

Try to explain it to him the way you just did online. If he is a good, understanding, reasonable guy then he will let you study in class and hang out some other time that is better for the both of you. ^-^

well perhaps you could try to tell him (when hes talking) "wait a sec i didnt hear what the teacher said", and look at the teacher until he speaks again, if not you could try to tell him "bobby (or whatever his name is) would you mind if we talked after class or at a coffe, its just that i really need to get my grades back up". and if this doesnt work you could try to explain it without using any offensive words, just say it and try to smile or something... that'll help.

Don't get obsessed, by falling to his fake charm which is causing you a lot of harm. Conentrate in your studies, you've a long way to go. Best of luck and Happy New Year.
