NASA is a very disappointing group of people. they were charged with developing America's space program, and in the 1960's and 70's came through with innovative and exciting plans. They are now, sadly a mere shadow of their former greatness,a withering bureaucratic arm of the government., Their contribution to the furthering of human exploration and exploitation of the rest of the universe is minimal. While private industries continues to grow.
So, soon we will not see an American flag on other planets, but maybe a Microsoft's.or GE.
