Well we bombed Afghanistan weeks later.
We gave the taliban time, just in case they changed their minds and would let that oil pipeline go through. Once we established they wouldnt let that pipeline go through oh we bombed the heck out of em.

The U.S. bombed the Taliban after they refused to hand over bin Laden. (It had nothing to do with oil, silly) The Taliban decided that they wanted to protect the people who bombed the World Trade Center instead of doing the right thing.

America bombed his Az, as the American people requested we do. Uh, duh, what he did was an act of War, and the country we believed he was residing in, Afghanistan, his home country, got a taste of American anger. He, and his cronies, murdered 3000+ people, not all American, but those who worked in the World Trade Centers from other countries, and not including the brave men and women of New York's finest, the police, and firemen. If a country breeds a demon, like Bin Laden, and does nothing to curb, or prevent his evil activity, as they well knew what he was, and what he was doing, they deserve nothing less than what they got! Bless America, and Britain!
