I resolve not to waste my time making a resolution with a hangover, for a goal I have not thought through, at a time of the year when I am unprepared to tackle my life issues and least likely to succeed in keeping it.
Rather, I will sit down in the summer, when life is less stressful, and evaluate my live, reflect on some way it can be improved, and then in the following new year, see if i have managed to reach my set goals.

I have two children; 10 and 14. My resolution is to get to know them better and respect them as teens/young adults. They are at a fragile time in their lives and if I don't continue keep an eye out for them I will loose them. They have a lot of choices to make in their lives and I want to ensure that when the time comes whatever I teach time TODAY will reflex on those choices TOMORROW.

on food = minimize sugar intake
on work = minimize using paper
on household = conserve more electricity and water
on health = i need to exercise, sleep early and wake up early too

mine is to quit smoking but i still have smokes from a carton i bought over a week ago. after i finish them i will try not to buy anymore. Oh this is going to be hard!!!!
