Not in a kissing-up sort of way, but if you notice something that you like about someone in regards to appearance or behavior/personality. . .do you let them know? Or keep it to yourself?
I pay a compliment where due. . .and I'm always amazed at know startled some people seem. . .especially if it's a check-out person or someone like that. . .I think they're more used to people's indifference or anger.

Yes i do. And I think it shocks people because so many of us are so vain and selfish that it actually hurt to pay someone else a compliment. There is this really pretty girl where I work and she is always wearing nice clothes but alot of the females hate her just because she's pretty and has nice clothes. Her personality is really nice to and I can tell that she is hurt by there response to her. I always compliment her on what she's wearing and I'm the only one that really talks to her. Some people are just so weird.

I always give credit where credit is due.I most definitely give a person a compliment when I see something I admire about them.Sometimes it has gotten me in trouble though.Like when giving a compliment to a man, some think that I'm trying to hit up on them. Not so.Of course not all men think the same,I've befriended some very mature men and women also. You can never have enough friends.

Well I'm a shoe lover so if I see someone wearing a cute pair of shoes I will compliment them. It's the same way if I like a hair style or a cute outfit. You never know when someone may need one.

I always compliment where it's due, and even if it's not if the person is nice but a bit unhappy. Anything to cheer them up.

I usually let them know, you can tell if some one is sporting a new hair do, or new clothes, or just looks revived... It is always a nice thing to compliment someone... life is too short to be negative...positive reinforcement is the way to go w/any one...

Me too, im the say way. If i see a pair of shoes someone is wearing, to be pretty i make the effort to stop and tell them i like their style. I also pay complements to people who have a funny bone.

I try to be complementary, I know how good it can make someone feel. You can make someones day by letting them know they look good or are wearing something pretty. I'm going to make a point of doing it more often. Thank you for the question.
