Because the parents arent together and so there fore the other parent doesnt need to know the other parent's bussiness

Well, to an extent, what one parent does isn't the other parent's business anymore (like who he/she is dating, etc.). The only things that need be discussed are serious issues like if the kids are small and one parent is a raging alcoholic and shouldn't have visitation or custody or there is abuse. Maybe the kids just want to be able to have a relationship with both parents without getting sucked into the drama.

Its called experience. They found out the hard way that the "parents" dont care about each other anymore. The only reason that these two people are even sometimes seen at the same places are because of the chldren. They have no desire to be interested in what the other does as long as it doesnt put the children in harms way.

Because when kids grow up they have enough common since to know that is isn't right. No matter how long they have been divorced its out of respect for each parent.

If you're divorced what the other does is none of your business and vice versa....besides, why would you want to place your children in the position to gossip behind their parent's back....get over it and move on....

In my experience, it only placed the child - grown or not - in the middle fo an already lost battle. It is not their fault the relationship didn't work, and it certainly isn't their responsibility to keep the feud going.

Because it's none of their business. They are all adults and need to respect each other's privacy. If the parent want to disclose something to the other, it's their choice.

For the same reason they usually don't interrogate you on your dating activities. Its non of your business unless the child is concerned with something.
