First of all NO! That will not work, and if you really dont want to get pregnant, either dont have sex, or get on birth control and use condoms to prevent STD's. If you cant remember to take a pill everyday, there are other options (the shot, the nuva ring) talk to your OB/GYN or go to a family planning center.

yeah, that's sooo romantic...
The male has a climax, then the lady IMMEDIATELY runs to the bathroom to use this douche, even if she's not ready to end things. Yeah, just the kind of thing that is very romantic....
Best of all, the effectiveness rate is, what, near that of the rhythm method?
Sigh... why would you WANT to use this when cheap or free birth control is only a trip to the druggist, or a health checkup, away?

No
You can use a condom or Birth control.
sOME FACTS FOR YOU TO READ IF YOU WANT:
WHAT ARE THE DANGERS LINKED TO DOUCHING?
Research shows that women who douche regularly have more health problems than women who do not. Doctors are still unsure whether douching causes these problems. Douching may simply be more common in groups of women who tend to have these issues. Health problems linked to douching include:
* vaginal irritation,
* vaginal infections called bacterial vaginosis or BV,
* sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and
* pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of a woman's uterus, fallopian tubes and/or ovaries. It is caused by bacteria that travel from a woman's vagina and cervix up into her reproductive organs. If left untreated, PID can cause fertility problems (difficulties getting pregnant). PID also boosts a woman's chances of ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus). Some STDs, BV, and PID can all lead to serious problems during pregnancy. These include infection in the baby, problems with labor, and early delivery.
CAN DOUCHING AFTER SEX STOP ME FROM GETTING PREGNANT?
No. Douching does not prevent pregnancy and should never be used as a means of birth control. Actually, douching may make it easier to get pregnant by pushing the sperm further up into the vagina and cervix.
CAN DOUCHING HURT MY CHANCES OF HAVING A HEALTHY PREGNANCY?
It may. Limited research shows that douching may make it more difficult for a woman to get pregnant. In women trying to get pregnant, those who douched more than once a week took the longest to get pregnant.
Studies also show that douching may boost a woman's chance of ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is when the fertilized egg attaches to the inside of the fallopian tube instead of the uterus. If left untreated, ectopic pregnancy can be life-threatening. It can also make it difficult for a woman to get pregnant in the future.

A douche can actually backfire on you and cause the sperm to go further in! This will not work. Just go get a condom and it'd be best if you backed it up with another method as well as nothing is foolproof!

You can use it but dont count on it as its not always effective. It only takes one tiny little sperm to make a child and you cant guarantee to get them all with the douche.

Most doctor's tell you not to douche as it messes up your PH balance and kills beneficial bacteria. If you don't want to practice safe sex and open yourself up to STD's then look into getting a sponge or other internal contraceptive.

No its not true, you can still get pregnant. And fyi, don't do any kind of douching, its not good for you. Douching destroys normal vaginal flora and can cause infections. Your vagina has a self cleaning mechanism.

you could try it, but i doubt it will work. when you douche, you're pushing everything in front of the fluid from the bottle deeper against the cervix. you may help yourself get pregnant that way.
just use a condom,diaphragm, birth control pills patch etc.

all this will do is hygienically clean you. It will not eliminate the possibility of pregnancy so don't think it is a form of birth control.
