What would need to happen to end and mediate the conflict?

The Arabs and the Muslims must face the fact that those who are causing the conflict are their own. As long as they keep sugar coating it, and looking away, and at the same time calling their religion, religion of peace and refuse to condemn and persecute those Arab Muslims who are killing, raping, and enslaving those the people in Darfur, the world is helpless in doing anything to end the conflict.
People first reaction is what will the US do. The US damn if did and damned if it didn't do anything. Either way, we are held responsible to help around the world, and at the same time if we didn't, we are damned for not rushing in or doing what they want.
The only way to end this conflict is for the Arabs to step in a actually do something to stop it themselves.
Muslims. I would like to know you view on how those people are raping their own people, killing them and enslaving them, and they still call themselves Muslims and the Muslim world just don't do much about it. what does Islam say about that? and why don't the Muslim condemn it? The Muslims get so enraged over what happens in Israel and it is not even close to what goes in Darfur. why?

The whole conflict demonstrates the total ineffectiveness of the UN. The world is watching this happen, just like they did in Rwanda, because nobody wants to get knee-deep in this muck.
Everyone is screaming that the US is doing nothing. But if the US did anything, everyone would still scream. Screwed either way.
Africa needs to work out it's problems on it's own. It will be a HORRIBLE mess though.
It is my believe that this conflict cannot be mediated. I know it is hard for many to believe, but sometimes one side (or both) are just so aggressive that the fight will happen no matter what. This will end in only one of two ways: the extermination of the people being slaughtered, or a brute-force reaction from an outside party.

Good question. The American government has no credibility in foreign policy so their "help" is not an issue. The Arab League is a joke.

China needs to STOP supporting the Arab government. the Janjaweed HAVE to be brought to Justice and Muslims need to stop separating based on race.
