Almost 2 months ago I went on the pill for the first time ever.My boobs are hurting like crazy from the beginning of the pill cycle. I feel bloated and sluggish all the time. I have bad cramping - it feels like PMSing all the time on the pill. I went through check up and am healthy, should I skip the Pill? I used to be on the vaginal hormonal ring for over a year a couple years ago and had none of those problems.

those are all side effects to the pill ... tell your doctor and maybe they can switch the pills for you maybe to a lower dosage... I was on a lower dosage for 2 years and had sex all the time and never got preggers so don't worry about that with switching to a lower dose good luck

The vaginal ring and pill are different forms of birth control. The side effects that you are experiencing are very common and may subside over the next couple of weeks. However, you SHOULD CONSULT your Dr.,because maybe you need a lower dosage or a different rx all together. DON"T SKIP A DOSAGE!!!! It's your choice to discontinue the rx all together and then just use manual birth control, ie condoms, diaphram, spermacides, etc. IMMEDIATELY because it's all about levels of the rx in your body.
G'luck and be safe

Breast soreness is a possible side affect to birth control pills as well as mood swings and cramps. There are so many different kinds of birth control pills on the market now though that you don't have to give up. Tell your doctor about your symptoms and ask him or her if they could give you a couple of months of samples of a different pill.
