Actually, I'll be 19 weeks and one day, but anyway:) What are some tricks to get my little one to show us if s/he'll be a sister or a brother to my four yr. old?:) We're so excited! I'll LOVE seeing a healthy baby, but I think I'll have a heartattack if I don't find out the gender-lol! I've heard of eating MandMs? I'm sure it's a bunch of oldwives tales, but I'll try anything (healthy, of course!) Thanks:)

when i went for my gender scan my son had his cord between his legs so the technician sent me out told me to walk around and drink some ice cold coke!!
when we went back in it had moved,, legs were wide open and we saw him :-)
so make sure you have a full bladder, and eat and drink something with high sugar content about and hr before .
it worked for me so fingers crossed it will work for you

Congratulations for a start. My soon to be mother in-law told me when i discovered that i was pregnant that if i wanted to tell the sex of the baby i should drink nearly pure straight red cordial (not a cheap brand either the stronger the better). I have had 2 other kids and never done it so i tried it and it worked, i discovered i was having a boy. The way it works is that the red cordial makes the baby hyperactive and of course it'll move around for the ultrasound. I hope it works just as well if u do try it.

yes, ofcourse that is an old wives tale. The truth is...there is nothing you can possibly do to have your baby show his or herself for the ultra sound. I mean it is possible that while you are lying on the table getting the ultra sound that you can turn to the left or right and the baby might move but there really is no telling.
besides the only 100% sure definite results of the gender is an amnio or a test called cvs. Well Good Luck and Congrats

have a full bladder, drink orange juice as soon as you wake up and sip on it the whole way to the doctor. Just have sugar! that is what will make baby move around. Good luck and congrats!

having a full blatter helps them to see baby more clearly,. good luck i have mine on the 24 i can't wait to find out what the baby will be.

lol thanks for answering my question about your same question. lol... about you and your husbands butting heads on the name, this is what me and my husband did.... i let him pick the boy name and i got to pick the girl name or vice versa! Good Luck!

drink some juice about 10 mins or so before...worked for me
