Electric razors dont work the same as blade razors, butt the do work, and after you get acustomed to it, you'll love it.
First step, Wash your face WELL. Apply some kind of lubricant, I like to use INSTANT HAND SANITIZER, It kills the germs, and help prevent the burn. And also lifts the hairs.
Use a circular motion, like waxing the car all over, concentrating on the stubborn hairs. Dont use UP AND DOWN AND SIDE TO SIDE, It has round blades, not straight ones, so use small circular motions.
An electric razor is good stuff, and leaves your face smooth, but you got to use it every day. One thing nice is, you can just take it on the go.
DOnt forget to rinse it after every use, and clean it weekly. Leave the blades alone, they are good for about two YEARS!
So, they are expensive, but once you take it out of the box, most stores wont let you return it.
Good Luck, and happy shaving!

you have sure to use the shaving cream that comes with it so that you will get an extra close shave with the electric shaver. you can change the levels to make it get a closer shave, but you have to take time to get used to the new piece of elictronics . you can probally take it back but if they see that the box is not suppose to be how a new box looks like then they will send you out of the store. it also depends on where the people from whom you got it from...where they bought the product. target is really strict on returns, so make sure you tell them what is wrong with the item after trying to return is if they do not except the item back.

I think if it used you can't return it but you never know you can try or just put in back in the box and pretend you haven't used it. It would have been smarter to not use it if you knew you didn't like them...
2 year warranty is if it breaks or is faulty, not if you don't like it. But I am not sure, maybe since it is such an expensive one if you say you didn't like it they may take it back. Call and find out.

Most of the Manufacturers offer a 30 day trial evaluation so if the store doesn't take it back you can mail it back to them and they will send you a check.
On the other hand, if it is rechargable, leave it on unil it dies, pack it up and return it to the store and tell them it won't hold a charge. They should return your money.

I go along with Sue on this one - clean it, repack it really well and ask for a refund or credit since you received it and do not want it.
I too got one as a gift some years ago and it gave me razor burn worse than any nicks I could get with a blade. So, I stick with my blade style and thoroughly enjoy it.

If you can't return it you can try and sell it on ebay or a more local online sales place like craigslist. You can also see if you have a local online yard sale site, to sell it on. Using Craigslist and local sites allows you to sell without giving your bank or credit info but ebay can be the money maker. You should research all and see what you think would be best, if you can't return it.

clean it up really well and return it. Don't mention that you used it. Just tell them you got it for Christmas and you want to return it . Most of the time they won't even look at it. Good Luck.
