If you feel threatened you can get an order of protection but sticks and stones .... names will never hurt me. I think we have free speech here and you can call them names back.

Work, school or where would matter.

If it's in the work place you have a good case. Talk to the union, or check out the harassment section of the (supposed to be) posted workers rights.

School, It may be something you created and is a sticks and stones item.

If you are being harassed publicly, you may fall into the category known as: Hate crime. Check it out with your local law enforcement. If they don't respond; try the federal law enforcement office in your area.

Remember this: If you don't do anything, expect it to continue.

The last I knew that was a crime. If it is happening at work or school, you or your parents can threaten a lawsuit. I bet your boss or principal will stop it immediately

Yes, especially if they have been told to stop.
Even more, if the name calling hasn't stopped and the offenders haven't been formally disciplined/discharged/fired after being told to stop, you can even go after their boss/c.o./company.

I'm sure there is more to this story, such as WHO is calling you names, WHAT names, WHERE is this happening, WHEN is it occurring, and WHY are you being harassed?

If it is in a place such as a school or place of employment, yes. In public, not really.

Yes. They are harassing you.
Are you at work when they are doing this?
How much time/money are they wasting when they do it?
