What's the question? J.D. Robb writes the 'In Death' series, a set of books set in futuristic New York City. The main character is a cop by the name of Eve Dallas. All of the books are excellent, you need to start the set with the first book.

J. D. Robb is the pseudonym of Nora Roberts.
