This is a personal decision and not one to be made for others. If you want to have sex then do it. But don't hold out cause you're hoping to find a man who will respect you for it. This goes both ways. Some men will love being your first, some would rather you bring some experience to the relationship. I have a close friend who's soon to be engaged to a virgin. He's not by any means and has not had sex in the 2 years they've been together. He's been frustrated but thinks it's worth is because he loves her. So there are men out there that will respect you for it. But don't hold out for that reason, this one is up to you. Because at 31, very few men are looking for/expecting to find a virgin.

Last I checked, you body is your body. Share it with someone when, and only when, you're ready to do so. Anyone who doesn't like it and won't wait or understand, doesn't respect you. You don't need that. And, for the record, I'm not a man hating feminist saying this. I'm all gentleman. In the truest since of the word.

Assuming you are sincere and are careful NOT to present yourself in any other way, it is extremely admirable. In fact, most men probably look at you as a challenge, and you are supremely desirable because of it.

You are right to be proud of yourself for doing this, and I'm sure you will have a successful and happy marriage because of it.

I don't understand the last statement.

Good Luck

I mean you have to respect someones personal convictions. Its commendable to have gone that long and stuck to what you believed in. Although there is no such thing as being too hot, its always good to see someone not folding to the pressures of society

It all depends. If you are involved with men with traditional values or biblical values then yes they will respect it. If you are dealing with men with more worldly values then they will think you are a prude or have hang ups with sex and don't have a very strong sex drive.
