most Oscars live 10-15 years average is 13 but what is a fancy Oscar? you mean a dyed one then not long

About 10 to 15 years, 20 is possible but unlikely. This is, of course, assuming the fish is being provided proper care and a proper sized aquarium.

15+ years....hopefully you are feeding it well and don't have anything in the aquarium with him that you don't consider a snack for him...LOL
