Anyone who actually follows NCAA football should know that Boise was a good team coming in. The announcers made it sound like Indiana came out there and won.

No doubt. Awesome game. Being torn myself, my sister was a Sooner, and I've always liked Boise (how could you hate the blue turf?) I just wanted to see a good game. Hated to see someone have to lose after that.

I am really getting sick and tired of these announcers and copycats that repeat their every word on here. I'm a Big Ten Wisconsin Badger fan and ESPN and CBS have been ripping them as well all year. Yesterday whenever Arkansas did the smallest thing they would bash the Badgers about lack of speed. When in fact, if they had eyes or half a brain you could see the Hogs D-line was dominating and not any speed. And oh yeah Wisconsin was up 17-7 at the half. And won the game. As they saw their analysis was way off they started making excuses for Arkansas bumbling and mumbling stupid stuff.

Same with Boise, they know they're not a big audience draw and are an easy target. Also, odds were in their favor they might get it right. Thing is, people are seeing for themselves they don't know what heck they're talking about. Oh yeah drool all over a USC and Pete Caroll or hype up an average Oklahoma. Never do deep analysis and tell us something we might not know. Like you say, Boise is pretty good. Just like bickering over politics, I'm sick of Sports announcers and guru's bashing other teams or conferences. Just tell us something about who they played and let us judge after the game who is good or not. All this negative stuff is getting old.

Yeah and how many were watching the Bowl Game and don't watch Boise State? There are plenty that didn't think Boise State had a chance. Also you are looking at it from someone who likes the team. Alot of us on the East Coast don't see Boise State play they just don't show it. Although what do you expect in a Mid-Major confrence.

First of all, I LOVE the Blue turf!!!! My husband thought i was kidding when i told him about it. I live in LSU country and down here it seems like its only about the big schools and anyone else gets no recognition. Sure, Boise State played very well all season, but they didnt beat any huge teams so many people have the mindset that they just cant compete. They proved all those peope wrong last night and thats exactly what it takes! They won that game because they fought with every bit they had, and they just wanted it more than OU. Thats what it takes. Congrats BSU!!!

Who cares what they think... most of them are WAY off by the time the season ends... maybe they will drink theyre shut up juice and sit back and shut up..(NOT).. In the mean time what a shame the BCS system once again lets a team down by not having a final game between undefeateds.. (that is if FLA doesnt follow Boise in an awesome upset victory.... Congrats to the Blue boys.... Great game..

i knew Boise State was good, but until watching them last night, i didn't realize how good they were. it's really better if you mute your T.V. that way you don't have to listen to some of the things the announcers say.

No matter how good you are, if all your victories are over weak-***, unranked teams, you won't get the respect you think you deserve... simple as that. Great game, though. I'd love to see them play Ohio State, or maybe if Florida wins, be declared co-national champs.
