My Question is ?
I spotted twice after last months period ( DEC 16 period ended) almost a week after my period, for 3 days and then it stopped for a day and spotted one more day after that(brownish color). I do have unprotected sex with my husband and i am on the pill,(been on pill for 2 years never had a problem with my pill as far as spotting is concern) and never spotted before.My period for this month (jan) is a week away. Could i be pregnant? I never skipped a pill, i did go for all checkups last year August so i am clean.
I don't have any symptoms, accept for more tiredness than usual and i feel bloasted that also never happen before.
Your advise would be appreciated

It is possible to get pregnant on the pill but not common if you have never missed. You could simply be having break through spotting...it happens. However, when in doubt, don't be afraid to have a pregnancy test down to find out for sure. Just call your doctor and request a blood pregnancy test since it is most sensitive. Please tell the doctor about the spotting so he can document it. He might want to run a few tests to see if you have other issues going on (i.e. thyroid, blood tests for anemia, etc.) due to your symptoms. Please call your doctor as it will put your mind at ease and get to the bottom of what is happening.
