Signs of Being Pregnant
How can you tell if you are pregnant? There are a number of signs to watch for. Each pregnancy is different, and chances are you will only experience a portion of the signs. Some of the signs require that you chart your basal body temperature daily.
The first noticeable sign occurs when your baby implants causing your temperature to drop. Implantation bleeding can occur 8-10 days after ovulation. This can be pink, red, or brown in color. You may also have lower abdominal cramps.
The next and best sign that you are pregnant is a positive pregnancy test. This test measures the pregnancy hormone hCG in your bloodstream. The most sensitive home pregnancy tests will show a positive result when the hCG levels reach 20, which can happen as early as four days before your period is due, or approximately 10 days after ovulation. To avoid false negatives, the usual recommendation is to wait until 14 days after ovulation before testing.
The next sign is the most common one people notice, a missed menstrual period. For women with a standard 28-day cycle, this will be 14 days after ovulation. Elevated basal body temperatures for 15 or more days will typically accompany the missed period.
If you are lucky, you will not experience the next signs of being pregnant. Morning sickness can begin as early as 2 to 4 weeks after conception and breast tenderness 3 to 4 weeks after conception. Following these signs are vomiting and fatigue at 3-10 weeks after conception.
Food cravings and frequent urination typically begin 1 to 2 months after conception. Further along in your pregnancy, you may experience constipation, lower back pain, and a darkening of the areola. You can feel your baby moving as early as 16 weeks, but for first-time mothers may not feel the baby moving until 20 weeks or more.

Missing a period
One of the most common signs and symptoms of being pregnant, missing a period can also be caused by other reasons. Although missing a period is one of the most common of the pregnancy symptoms, stress, illness, weight fluctuations or coming off the oral contraceptive pill can also be the cause of this. Irregular periods are a common symptom of polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition in which periods can occur several months apart. If you still feel like you are experiencing other pregnancy symptoms, continue reading the other signs of being pregnant.
Sore breasts
Another sign and symptom of pregnancy is the changing of size and feel of your breast. As early as a few days after conception, this pregnancy symptom may occur. Your breast is beginning to enlarge, as it gets ready for breastfeeding. Many women claim that their breasts are very sensitive and that they experience a very sharp, tingling sensation as well. Being one of the signs and symptoms of being pregnant, the tenderness of the breast often disappears a few weeks later.
Morning Sickness
Considered another one of the classic sign and symptoms of being pregnant, nausea and vomiting, (morning sickness) has become one of the most feared of all pregnancy symptoms. Feeling sick is a common complaint and is experienced by most women from weeks 5 to 6 of their pregnancy. However, morning sickness can also be felt as early as two weeks after conception. Morning sickness can occur at any time of the day, and can vary from an occasional faint sensation to overwhelming vomiting and nausea. By and large, morning sickness is one of the pregnancy symptoms that tends to
Darkening of the Areola
Being one of the first physical symptoms of pregnancy, the darkening of the areola can occur throughout your entire pregnancy. If you notice the darkening of the areola, this could be considered one of the signs and symptoms of being pregnant

well 15lbs is alot of weight to gain in one month even if you are pregnant. During your whole pregnacy your only "soposed" to gain 25-35 lbs. If you feel tired & sick take a home test or go to a planned parenthood, they will do a test for free.

It could be but studies have shown that women who think they are pregnnt can bring on these symptoms themselves. Also strees shows up in different ways. My advice is to go see a doctor. I didn't say tkae a test. Do to the doctor because even if you are not pregnant you need to know if your weight gain is just that a weight gain or if something is happening that is causing you to gain the weight..

It might but gaining weight in very early pg. isn't normal.
Signs to look for are:
Fatigue, Breast Tenderness, Nausea, Bloating, Irritability, Strong Sense of Smell.
Those are just a few...if you think you're pregnant, the best way to tell is to go ahead and take a test to find out.
Best time to take the test in in the morning just as you wake up, that's when the pg. hormones are the strongest.
Good luck.

No. If your period is late, is you feel sick, if your boobs are aching, lower back ache and stomach ache like a feeling your goingto get your period but you dont get it, these are signs. You would not put on weight like that in the first few months of pregnancy. If your un sure, take a test!
