My boss's husband has actually. He works for the same company. He is a total slime.

It depends on how objectionable the 'hitting on' is.

Lots of married people engage in light flirting - they want to prove to themselves that they still 'have it'. It doesnt mean that they want to go out and cheat. Lighthearted and good humored answers are a nice response. Curb it if it gets too much.

More direct 'hitting on' is harassment (and they should be told that they will be reported to the boss and HR if they continue). No need to call a spouse - tell the chain of command, its a work related issue.

yea i do hate that. But no it doesn't make me want to call their spouses because nine time out of ten they already know and yet they stay.
