I totally agree with u. You can't go anywhere now without someone calling. They are nice to have in case of an emergency but yes its aggravating that no matter where u go people are contacting u.

Cell phones are a good thing for communications, but the dark side of it is we are accessible 24/7. I think to back before I had a cell phone and I look at the disposible cash that I had on hand before paying my $150 cell phone bill each month. Im in sells so I have to talk alot. The most simple answer I can give you though is to build your strength and somedays just...turn it off...the world will survive one or two days without you. Even if you don't believe it...It will go on...

Everything in moderation! If there are times I don't want to talk to people, I just keep my phone on vibrate and sometimes hit "ignore" so the calls go directly to my voice mail. Just because it rings, it does not mean I have to answer it.
The only people who call me are the people I give the number to. Only my family and very few close friends have my number. When I give out my number I let people know that I do not appreciate calls after 10pm unless it's an emergency.

No, I agree with you. I think everyone has gone cell phone crazy. It's causing accidents on the highways, they are annoying in restaurants, and the stupid ring tones get on my nerves. I have one, but only got it for emergencies. I don't know what everyone did before, why is it they seem to be growing out of their ears now?

No! I have to turn mine off or the people at work think that my time at home is for their own use. They also cause major headaches when you are driving and someone is chatting away without paying attention to the traffic around them.

Well, yes you can turn it off also but ull miss all the fun!!So depends on how you look at it..;)

you're right- so i switch my phone off at night and leave my landline accessible for emergencies- only very select people have my landline number- it narrows down to my family and extremely close friends.
