Does anyone remember when Shannen Doherty was the only screwed up Doherty we had to deal with in the tabloid press? Are Americans even supposed to know who Pete Doherty is, anyway?

Pete Doherty is some English musician/drug addict who keeps appearing in the U.S. tabloids as linked to Kate Moss, but until he hooked up with her, I had never heard of him. Just wondering why all the hype. I realize he's not related to Shannen.

He is the lead singer of Babyshambles & has just gotten married to kate moss in Thailand..

Those two Dohertys can't possible be related, since they live in different countries. Shannon has calmed down a lot since her days in 90210. Pete has completely given his talent to drugs. I had such high expectations from him during his time with the Libertines.

The American press doesn't report much on celebrities from other countries.
They have enough of their own.
You don't need press about this guy.

I cant say Metallica could be everywhere as good as pink floyd or led zeppelin. Led zeppelin had a large sound and sense, yet curiously somewhat some songs on there albums they didnt write (riffs) and maximum of there music is fueled by using drugs. i think of pink floyd replaced right into a wiser band with greater advantageous shape and killer guitar solos. pink floyd for me :)
