#1 When you first borrow the money, what was the agreement for the pay back? Are you past due with your agreement for the payback?
#2 how many months ago did you borrow the money?
#3 Face up to it, you owe the money.
#4 What assets do you have that you could sell real fast?
#5 Go to your bank, credit union, loan company, and see if they can do a speedy loan.

The bottom line is, you can not get blood from a turnip. You will have to face the consequences if he is in a bind.

I borrowed a lot of money off a friend and I mean a lot. It'll take me almost 3 years to pay back I was supposed to open a business but I didn't quite get enough and failed. I should have asked for more but oh well. They talked me into borrowing it now there saying I shouldn't have taken the loan and their denying they coaxed me into it. The bottom line yes I will pay them back and when I'm supposed to because any money I have borrowed I always paid back when I was supposed to but not to many people have ever paid me back. Like yesterday I did a friend a favour he paid 5 still owes me 5.I saw him today and hope fully he didn't pay me because he hasn't gotten the money yet and hope fully he'll pay me tonight, if not then oh well taken again and I'll never do him any thing again, Yes I meant never I'm not even going to say squat to him. I want to see what kind of honour he has because I'm one of the few who will go out of their way to pay some one on time like said I would but yet people aren't shy about getting into my face even has I'm paying them.

Talk to the person and see if you can repay in installments.
Better to get something back then nothing.

Rob a bank. ;-)

If that's not an option, take out a loan. Banks are open today.
