There is a full-body shower on the I.S.S. It is a cylindrical shower stall; the astronaut steps into it, and closes the door, and then use a shower-type hose to get themselves wet. The water tends to cling to the skin, and the bather uses a gel-type soap with which to wash. The water and soap are collected by a suction device.

Likewise, a toilet collects waste by suction.
