try putting some baby powder in the folds. My daughter would also get red b/c of sweat and moisture constantly being in there. Baby powder absorbs the sweat. Just be sure you're careful when you do this b/c you don't want the baby in inhale the powder, it's not good for them. Just put a little on at a time and use a qtip to help spread it in the folds

Try just PLAIN cornstarch. Baby powder can, although doesn't always, aggravate them if it gets inhaled. My son has moderate eczema due to food allergies we are tryign to deal with. His allergist recomended SHORT baths and not to rub teh skin dry, to just pat it. Maybe the same will help for this. Hope so, these babies sure do get miserable with sore skin :(

I would put baby powder in the folds. I had to do this with my son and he is now 2 in the summer I have to put baby powder on his neck because he sweats so bad, it really helps. You also dont want to leave any wetnes in the folds.

This is part of being a baby. The get this because of wetness and being so cute and cubby. Don't use baby powder, use corn starch. Baby powder has metals in it and can irritate the skin. Keep it clean and he will out grow this as he gets bigger. Good luck

I just use diape cream, the kind with zinc, though it is messy it does clear it up pretty quick.
The other thing that helps is to wipe them down with a diaper wipe at every diaper change.

Try SUDACREME all good drugstores (in UK) sell it. We use it for nappy/diaper rash, or anything that is red and looks sore.
