my friends told me that they do that to their girlfriends whenever they wanna prevent them from becoming pregnant after they have sex.. is this somehow true?

i think its got something to do with abortion like if the girl's a week pregnant and they wanted to abort it, they would tell them to drink beer..

If a girl drinks a lot of alcohol, be it beer or spirits etc and she is taking the birth control pill, it will lessen the effect of the pill and make her more LIKELY to get pregnant, that's why a lot of girls get pregnant why they are on the pill. But there is no way alcohol will prevent a girl becoming pregnant.

That is most definatly not true. You could most definatly become pregnant. Infact I know at least two of my friends became pregnant while drunk from beer and having unprotected sex. It's also a good way to get an STD!

Some forms of birth control are better than others and drinking beer ain't one of them. Getting high probably causes more unwanted pregnancies than just about anything else....

Drinking lots of beer will in no way prevent pregnancy. The only way to do prevent pregnancy is through abstinence (not having sex) or using birth control (birth control pills, condoms, etc....). Birth control only prevents pregnancy, it will not prevent STDs or STIs.
