Only if you get dehydrated otherwise you should be fine. Best of luck.

It won't bring on labor, but it will make you miserable through it if it is not resolved. I am going through the same thing right now...I am 34 weeks also and have had a really bad cold for a while. I called my ob and he said to call my primary care physician. They said if you are coughing or sneezing anything green, then it is an infection that needs to be treated before you deliver (or you will be miserable). She gave me amoxicillan. Call your Dr. if you feel that bad. Good luck!!

No, I was sick several times during this pregnancy and I'm at my due date now, nothing brought on labor...and I had colds/bronchitis throughout the whole second part of my pregnancy. Your body will go into labor when the baby is ready and it really doesn't have anything to do with whatever else your body is fighting off...just stay hydrated and get lots of rest so that you feel better!

nope. just get some rest. having a cold can not harm the baby either. call your doctor and find out what medicines you can take. first baby, huh? :-)
