The following are the options to ensure that your laptop which has a wireless card and PC which does not have a wireless card to connect seamless using wireless.

1) First check whether the broadband provided by Homecall has a cable modem or not
2) Check the type of wireless router you need. It may be a ASDL or normal Wireless router? Mostly the wireless router you need will be a digital router supplied by D link wireless router or a Linsys wireless router.
3) Now connect the cable modem cable to the router and connect your laptop through the normal ethernet cable (RJ42 cable)
4) Power off your laptop, your wireless router and cable modem
5) Power on the cable modem, wireless router and laptop
6) Your laptop should be connected to internet
7) Now for your PC please check whether you have an USB port. If so please procure a wireless USB adapter and your could connect your PC as well
8) Please remember to ensure that you set up your wireless network in a secure mode by providing sufficient security.

Hope this helps

You need a wireless router. To set it up you simply need the username and password from your BB connection and the instructions that come with it will take you through setting it up.

To connect the desktopo PC to the router you can use an ethernet cable to connect via a wire (you may need to do this initially anyway to set up the router) or you can buy either a wireless USB dongle or a wireless PCI card (the latter would need you to open the PC).

Any router you buy would be suitable but your isp may not be able to provide tech support for it. If you want your ISP to suport the router check if they sell one you can use

If you're going wireless. Make sure you find the best encryption protection for your computer. Many criminals can easily park up outside your house and view everything you do on the internet via their laptop and your wireless. Thus collecting important information about yourself and your whereabouts.

This could be used in fraud, robberys etc... Make sure you do the research!
