He's formula feed! His poops are really soft and messy! For real, is this normal? I realize he's drinking formula and does not eat solid foods, but they sure are messy!

Does he poop right after feeding him? If that is the case then he must be having indigestion. How long has it been since he started having messy poop? If he is not showing any signs of pain and discomfort, I guess there is nothing wrong with him. I experienced the same with my daughter before, she would poop right after I fed her and it was not solid, but she did not show any signs of pain but it really scared me so I took her to her doctor and the doctor advised me to change her infant formula because it was a sign of indigestion. It is better to be sure than anticipate things and be sorry later. I just hope your baby is fine.

as long as the color is right and he is not acting like his tummy hurts then he is fine. sounds normal to me. you might want to call his doctor just to ask him what he thinks about all this. better safe then sorry. good luck and congrats on the baby.
