Is that how to bypass seperation of a company because of a monopoly?

Yeah, pretty funny.

Especially if you understand the breakup of the Ma Bell monopoly from the 80's.

It has took nearly 30 years, but good ole Ma Bell (AT&T) nearly has everysingle "Baby Bell" back under one company.

In a couple more years it will look like 1982 all over again.

The funny thing is that Bell South is one of the 'Baby Bell' companies, an off shoot of the Bell breakup in the 70's. Now they are joining a larger company again.

Unless I'm mistaken, AT&T is the original parent company to the Bell companies. Bell use to be Bell Labs, the R & D division of AT&T.
