go to windows microsoft website,and they will authenicate it

Follow the below steps:

In Microsoft internet explorer >> Tool Menu >> Windows update.

If ur Windows XP is original it will make the new updates... else it will show u that ur Windows XP is duplicate/ unregistered.

if u bought a branded pc like HCL/acer/ibm/pcs/aci/hp/lg
and provided you with a silver coloured CD named
windows XP recovery cd... in a jewel case or with serial
in a hologram like sticker --> then you are having windows original

all the Assembled pc's are illegetimate.. and illegal ones

try updating you windows with "windows update" and the ms validator will automatically determine it for you.
