I am in control of some of my circumstances...others are in control of me.

Some events in ones life are predetermined by Fate--they are the larger life events that control the ultimate path of your life thread. When a life thread is altered it also send reverberations along other's life threads. Events that change the lives of others are controlled by fate.
Although you may feel that you have made concious decisions, the hand of Fate and the Powers that Be have guided you toward your decisions by manipulating circiumstances around you. Did you ever say to yourself "Boy, I was in the right place at the right time" or even the opposite "the wrong place at the wrong time"? Most people don't take notice of Fate but it does exist and cannot be swayed. It exists on a level that most are not aware of.
You do make decisions in your life and the decisions you make will lead you down the path that has been written for you. Will you make an impact on the world? YES, every person and being does in their own way. Fate controls the outcome of that impact. It is when you work against Fate that causes hardship in you life. Circumstances and other people working against Fate can force you along the wrong path and you can be traveling along an altered life thread, but this will be temporary, i.e. bad jobs, bad spouses, accidental injury, the death of your child or spouse. These instances are often the result of not being on your path, although these can also be predestined and necessary experiences that will effect the outcome of your life thread or other's life threads. Will you be a person that dies alone in a nursing home, in a happy home after a long life or suddenly in an automobile accident? No telling, but your path is predestined and you will follow it in order for Fate to align other's life threads. Praying to an deaf God will not change things to benefit you when you ask. Fate keeps the order and you are involved. Without Fate there would be anarchy and turmoil.

depends on what you're referring to. controllable things like when i eat and so on of course are controlled by myself, but unprecedented circumstances like an electricity shortage dictates what i do. :)

I am always in control... Always has been.
That don't mean that I get everything I want... on the contrary...
To be in control... you need to be strong and reject offers which would suck your control away.
Sometimes you have to go without things to remain in control.

I'd say fiddy/fiddy. My husband is a go getter and I am a just a sec'er. So sometimes things happen before I can think about it.
