Try schoolfriends.com or google their name with their family members as well - that way you might come across a family members web page and you can contact them that way.
It's hard being a girl when all your old school pals marry and you have no idea where to start if you want to drop them a line!

Get directory enquiries to give you phone numbers for the parents, then phone the parents, explain yourself, and they should be able to give you contact info for the person you're looking for.

Try friends reunited too, if you know the name you should be able to find someone in the family...
