Don't read with your mouth , but read with your mind. The brain is quicker than your mouth. Practise "scan reading". reading the major words only and not every article or inconsequential words.

I am a self taught speed reader. I read a line at a time down the page--that is a vertical reader. Most people read a word at a time across the page--that is a horizontal reader.

Well its a matter of practice which determines how fast one can read, but it surely can be improved with some techniques.
As far as I remember, you can follow these hints:
- while reading, focus on the phrases rather than the words,
- see a group of words or a sentence as a package,
- receive a gist of the sentence as you go ahead.
- dont ponder around with new/confusing words, rather try to get the meaning by context,
- dont make a habit of going backwards for the confused words, always try to move ahead, and finally,
- try to do this as fast as you can.

An Earth sized /mass planet rotating as quickly as each and every 10 minutes could have a floor gravity of 10ms^-2 in the direction of the centre and an acceleration of 117,one hundred seventy,930,780,097,315 ms^-2 far flung from the centre because of the angular momentum so no longer in uncomplicated terms could we fly off the planet yet I think of the planet itself could fly aside. in case you want to play around with numbers your self to work out what's going to paintings. the outdoors gravity pulling hte planet mutually is acceleration below gravity = GM/r^2 the place G is the gravitational consistent, M is the mass of the planet and r is the gap to the centre of the planet from the outdoors. rigidity pulling it aside is v^2/r the place v is the circumference of the planet divided via the time it takes to rotate and r is the radius of the planet.

1- dont read the words aloud .
2-and dont stop at the end of each sentence, try to read the whole paragraph .not each sentence and each words.
- but regarding those methods, i think they are usually used for finding the answers ,like comprehension tests ,
