Look at the left of your inbox, and there should be a row of checkboxes. There should be one at the top of the column, which you click. This will mark all of the messages present in your inbox, then you should find a delete button or delete marked messages. Click it and everything you marked will delete.

Well, I am assuming you want to keep the actual inbox, since with most non-networked computers, you can right click on the inbox and delete, since the inbox is a folder for the email client defined a certain way.
If you click on the first item, hold down the shift key, then press end, that will usually highlight all of the contents, press del and then it should delete all of the inbox. Caveats: Some clients will take a dogs age to delete or possibly freeze. and Usually if you have a LOT of email, it might freeze the entire client.
For example, I know that if you have more than 9,000 email items in Pegasus, that will usually freeze the client. Outlook chokes on 12,000 emails with most folders.
If you have a bunch more than hundreds of emails, you may need to "surgically" delete the inbox content, and that is email client specific... since you have to find the right file or files.

You will have to select all messages in inbox in a page and then delete. It can be done pagewise only there may be or may not be an option to delete all inbox items at one go.

It depends what e-mail program you're using. If you're using Outlook or Outlook Express (and now the Yahoo Mail BETA), pressing Ctrl+A should select all the messages in your inbox, then you can press delete. Then don't forget to empty your deleted items too. If it's an online interface such as Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail, there's usually a tick box by each email, in addition to this, there's a tick box directly above them all. Ticking this adds a tick to all your emails and then you can press the delete button.

If you are using yahoo as your client then all you need to do is click the link at the bottom "check all"
you should see all of your messages be checked then
hit delete

you want to delete more messages at once?
you need to increase your messages per page limit. (options>prefences?)

I assume you are talking about your email inbox. That means that we have to know what your email program IS. Each has its own way.

It depends on your e-mail client you installed. If you are using OE you may pres ctrl+A then "del". DONE!

Or if you are using Yahoo!, switch to Yahoo! Beta, then you may feel that ajax really make it different.. ^_^
