Only time will answer that question. If you think about it, Abraham Lincoln with the emancipation of the slaves caused civil war to break out so at that time in history he was hated by almost half the country. Bush is no different. Lincoln now is revered for his actions and if you buy into the republican line, Bush is the best ever. In 50 years when your grandchildren are able to access all the records of what this administration knew and didn't know about Iraq, 9-11, etc, you will have your answer. Until then, you are either with us or against us...

WOW - you didn't really get many answers to your question, but you certainly managed to say the right words to bring out party colours. I am amazed, daily, at the partisan politics in the United States. As an outsider, looking in, it is fascinating. Each side blaming the other for blindly following and towing the party line. Look at all the questions in this forum..."Why do liberals do this", "Why do conservatives think that". From these kinds of questions and comments, the rest of the world is left to believe that no one in the US thinks for themselves...all they have to do is pick a party and register for it...then all the thinking is done for them. And in traditional American style, it is defended ferociously. If only people had that kind of commitment to their own thoughts....much better country and world to live in!

But to answer your question...I believe George Bush will hold a special place in US history as the man who got away with mass murder. His unlawful invasion of Iraq (check the international law facts...it was an unlawful invasion) turns all war killing into murder. Of course, Bush supporters will not even entertain the thought, as it would mean that they would have to question their beliefs. And really, who has time for that? You have guns to clean, Big Macs to eat and tv to watch.

In my own history , yes. BUT. I wouldn't really say I hate him.
I just don't understand anyone who could have ever voted for him. I mean seriously, any moron can run for president...but what makes that the people who vote for him??????
They are the ones who put him in office and that TWO times!!!! Unbelievable, especially after the New Orleans catastrophe. Not only does he waist millions on a war that makes no sense, he doesn't even help his own people the way he should...but they still voted for him....I can't get over it.

Hated by whom? By Americans I think Nixon takes the prize. However people all over the world, not just Americans hate Bush. The entire Muslim world hates him, the British think he brainwashed Blair, the French hold him beneath contempt, and Canada wonders if they are going to wake up to the sound of a steel fence being erected at the boarder. /
And he has 2 years to go!!!

No. Every president that stood for freedom is hated by the world. Every president that had the balls and guts to stand up against tyranny from another country is hated.
Do you have a master's degree? If you don't, like George Bush has, maybe there are some folks who think you are stupid? I do.

I guess it depends who you ask, as far as I am concerned he is the most corrupt and criminal president that we have had in my lifetime, he reaches far past Nixon as Nixon's cover up did not cost 3000 American lives and 655,000 Iraqi lives all based on a lie that took us to war.

Don't know about hated for stupidity. I think he's disliked because he's disengaged (not stupid) and apathy is the greatest problem we face. If he was stupid but asked lots of questions that'd be cool, but it seems like he's not that interested and goes where someone else points.

Many people dislike his policies, but as far as the most hated, he is not even in the top 100.
