have your unwanted Christmas presents? - I love books.

It doesn't have to be books - toys, gizmos, pens, clocks, etc. will do.

A book was my Christmas gift to myself this year. You may wish to convert some of your intellectual gifts into a profit. Are you from this planet?? Success here is a product of intellectual capacity as well social etiquette; one without the other is fairly useless in the attempt to progress.

Hello Silki,

My very good old lady friend next door always comes to Christmas. This year she gave me sea horses in the style of flying ducks because I am doing something fantastic to the bathroom. She feels her choice in bathroom appendages is similar to mine. They are made of a sort of resin with embedded crushed shells and are reminiscent of Hilda Ogdon. would these be of interest to you? If not I shall hammer them down and make them into a trendy interesting hat.

You can have my large red plastic watch I got from a cheap guest on Christmas day, but you pay for the packaging.

With such gifts as yours, surely you should be writing the books & creating the presents & then selling them, thus gaining the wealth to obtain everything you desire.

In the same boat here. Christmas leaves us all a bit bereft.

Why would anyone ever want to give away a book?
I've never understood that - I keep ALL my books, and read 'em all again, and again, and again. Occasionally I'll lend one out, but only if the person is trustworthy. And you can't touch my books with sticky fingers!

Sorry but I love my books. You should go to a public library or use Project Gutenberg. May I complement you on your vocabulary?
