Some of the tribes of papua new guinea eat their enemies. There was a program on it - part of the series called "tribe". Some british guy went and lived with one of the tribes for a few weeks, and they showed him their customs, and I think initiated him into their tribe. The tribe all seemed very nice - very sweet, very friendly. At one point he asked the guy who was looking after him if he'd ever eaten someone, and the guy said yes, he'd eaten 3 people - all of them from one of the enemy tribes. One of them had killed his brother, and so he'd spoken to the elders of that tribe and they'd agreed that the murderer should be killed, so the guy killed the murderer and ate him. It was fascinating. The other two people he'd eaten were kind of similar, but I can't remember the exact circumstances. This is the website for the show - well worth a look!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/tribe/tribes/kombai/index.shtml

Yeah...ofcourse they are still existing until now. Actually, in my country, Philippines, some hidden tribes are living in isolated provinces here.

I seem to recollect that there are still cannibals in parts of Brazil.

And, yes, the KKK is still in operation.
