Okay everybody,
So a couple of days ago at a Christmas/New Year's party....I got this half wool/half rabbit-fur scarf...it's crochet'd (SP) with wool and rabbit-fur ball-like-things...well, doing the obvious, I tried seeing if there was a "Care-tag" as with most garments there is one...well I spilled some ice-coffee on it by accident. OOPS! Soo...unfortunately there seems to be no care label, thus I assume it's dry-clean only. Anybody know? I was thinking about maybe trying to rinse it off with a bit of water but don't wanna ruin it at all...ok thanks!

You can't wash wool- it shrinks. You can't wash real fur-it doesn't hold up to friction or heat. And if it is real fur, it can't be dry cleaned either, it has to be taken to a fur specialist.
Ask the person who gave it to you if the accents are real or fake. Faux fur can be dry cleaned. Since it doesn't have a tag, I'm going to assume they hand crocheted it themselves, so they should know what materials they used in the making.

Yes, all real furs and wools need to be dry cleaned.
